We have founded the Moxy Vision Program, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, with a mission to provide free eye care to underserved students and veterans in Pinellas County.

Our goal is to purchase a custom 20-foot mobile unit in the next few months—fully equipped as a professional-grade eye exam room—to bring quality vision care directly into the communities that need it most.

We named our program “Moxy” because we believe deeply in what the word represents: courage, resilience, and determination. Life can be full of challenges, but with support and vision—literally and figuratively—we can empower people to overcome obstacles and pursue their goals.

The cost of the mobile unit is $105,000, and I’m proud to share that SPECS has already purchased and donated over $115,000 worth of medical equipment to support this initiative.
